AM Baker
Responsibilities
- Daily bake off of our pastries, breads, and viennoiseries with a 3AM starting time.
- Daily production of all bread orders; including but not limited to mixing, shaping, and baking of doughs and viennoiseries.
- Assist in kitchen organization, equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
- Daily check of pars and quality.
- Fulfill orders for deliveries given by Head Bread Baker and Bread Sous Chef.
Requirements
- Punctuality is a must for this 3AM bake-off shift position.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 1 year or more experience in pastry, savory, or bread production.
- Knowledge of lamination and previous use of bakery equipment preferred.
- Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards (must have Illinois' food handler's certificate).
- Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on holidays.
- A great attitude, an eagerness to learn, and passion for bread baking.
Pastry Cook
Responsibilities
- Daily production for all dessert items; including but not limited to plated dessert components, cakes, and pastries.
- Ability to follow directions and recipes.
- Assist in kitchen organization and cleanliness.
- Daily check of pars and quality.
- Fulfill orders for delivery given by pastry sous chef or executive pastry chef.
- Delivery check-ins.
- Attend certain outside events and programs
Requirements
- 2 years or more experience in pastry production.
- Knowledge of lamination, chocolate work, production of confectionaries, and building cakes and entremets preferred.
- Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards (must have Illinois' food handler's certificate).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on holidays.
- A great attitude, an eagerness to learn, and passion for pastry.
Sales Associate
Resposibilities
- Must be available 8:00AM-4:30PM, five days a week including weekends
- Take and prepare in-person and online orders using Shopify POS system.
- Greet and assist customers in the bakery storefront.
- Daily setup and breakdown of the storefront.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the storefront.
- Answer questions and recommend products to customers.
- Package products
Job Requirements:
- 1 year similar experience in a food service establishment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems.
- Strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment .
- A genuine interest and love for pastries and breads.
- Must have a great attitude and be service oriented.
- Illinois Food Handler's Certification
